What is PET FELT?

PET Felt is made from recycled plastic bottles that are collected, compressed, shredded and melted down to create granulate, or plastic flakes. The flakes are soft fibres which are pressed together in layers to make a sturdy sheet of PET.

SOUND-ABSORBING
The open and compressed felt structure is 40% thinner than comparable high-performance absorbers.

ROBUST
Very dimensionally stable, tearresistant and cleanable without residues.

REGULATING
Pleasant indoor climate thanks to balancing temperature and humidity.

EASY TO PROCESS
Individually cut on the CNC cutting plotter, easily customisable on site.

FIRE SAFETY
European fire protection classification: B-s1/s2, d0, hardly any smoke development and no burning dripping.

MOLD-FREE
Because the fibre does not absorb water, the EchoBoard® dries very well.

EMISSION-FREE
Does not emit hazardous fibres or paint particles.

LIGHTFASTNESS
The fibres are dyed in the liquid state and do not fade.
